FLU INVADERS -
Concept & animation
FLU season was right around the corner in September 2020 and as a Public Health agency, it was our duty to disseminate the vaccine but, with the COVID-19 pandemic rising, it became a challenge.
A bold video was requested to start the advertisement strategy on movie theaters, streaming channels and social media channels. To attract both, Gen X and millennials, I wanted to use the nostalgia feeling inspired on the 80's and early 90's video games, like "Space invaders" and "Tamagotchi".
I designed our own FLU invader bug and the syringe using a grid to create a "pixelated" effect, along with modified sounds of this classic video games to make it come together as our own version of the space invaders.
Additional pieces like web banners were created to support the campaign on different digital channels.
