MASK-ON -
Outdoor and digital campaign

With the rising of the COVID-19 pandemic, as the communication team for the Fulton County Board of health, we needed a campaign that had a broad reach with a message that would resonate with Fulton County residents no matter their age, socioeconomic status, race, or gender.

We developed a message that we hoped everyone could identify with; however, our target audience were those between ages 20 and 49 as research showed that those in this age group aren’t necessarily wearing their masks, social distancing consistently or following the CDC safety guidelines to delay the COVID-19 spread.

We created a clear, intentional statement demonstrating what we wanted our residents to do to stop the spread of COVID-19: we wanted them to put a mask on (wear a mask) and to keep it on to protect themselves and others from the disease. I design a logo that represent this action, using the letter “O” wearing a mask, along with the tag line "STOP THE SPREAD".

Using Atlanta's skyline and the mask as the main design elements, I created a visual design line that could be easy understandable, appealing a familiar with our audience and as a result, a very effective and bright campaign that covered

MARTA stations, Gas stations and digital platforms across metropolitan Atlanta.
